







Kevin McShane was born. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Kevin attended Oberlin College in rural central Ohio. While at Oberlin, Kevin co-founded and directed the long-form improv troupe “The Sunshine Scouts” while earning a degree in Computer Related Art Production (or C.R.A.P.). After Oberlin, Kevin attended the Graduate Film School at Florida State University, where his work in front and behind the camera earned him three Student Emmys, a Student Academy Award Nomination, and the chance to meet Burt Reynolds.
Now a resident of Los Angeles, Kevin makes a living by writing, drawing, and publishing Toupydoops, a comic book based on his Schulz Award nominated comic strip of the same name.
